Gladstone Area Promotion and Development Limited (GAPDL) is a community organisation representative of local authorities, statutory authorities, and private businesses involved in tourism, industry, commerce and community organisations drawn from the City of Gladstone and the Shires of Banana, Calliope, Miriam Vale, and Monto. GAPDL’s goals are aimed at achieving significant economic spin-offs for the Region and its members. This includes increased visitation and tourism and various initiatives that will have long-term outcomes in terms of employment generation, increased population and development of commercial markets.
